“WOMEN IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE” UNDER DEBATE IN THE WORKSHOP CYCLE “GIRLS IN ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY”

On March 11, at 10:00 am, the second session of the Workshop Cycle “Girls in Engineering and Technologies” will take place, in Webinar format, with the theme “Women in Artificial Intelligence”, as part of the celebrations of the International Women’s Day.

Held by “Engineers for a day” project, this session is moderated by Beatriz Maio Santos (Specialist in digital and member of Women in Tech) and with the participation of Catarina Silva (Researcher and Professor of Computer Engineering at the University of Coimbra), Sara Oliveira (Director of Customer Experience & Strategy at DefinedCrowd) and Ana Carolina Almeida (Head of Data Management and Quality & Customer Insights at Vodafone).

This workshop cycle will run until May and aims to promote an interest in, and choice for, engineering and technology among elementary and secondary school students, in order to deconstruct the idea that these areas are mostly male.

The Webinar is free, with registration, here.
