LUISA RIBEIRO LOPES IS THE NEW GENERAL COORDINATOR OF INCODE.2030

Luisa Ribeiro Lopes, Chairman of the Board of Directors of .PT, the entity responsible for managing the national top-level domain and which until then held the position of  Coordinator of the Inclusion Axis of the Digital Skills Portugal Initiative of INcoDe.2030, became general coordinator of this national program, which is the largest public policy dedicated to strengthening digital skills. A recognition that comes naturally to those who are also a founding partner of APDSI, a member of the Strategic Council of ACEPI and of the Executive Committee of MUDA – Movimento pela utilização digital ativa.

As part of the Portuguese Government’s Digital Transition Plan, the National Digital Skills Initiative Incode.2030 has at its disposal reinforced human and financial resources to meet various challenges with the support of the Portugal Digital Mission Structure. It stands out: a governance structure that expands its goals, simplifies and reinforces the initiative’s strategic management and policy. The simplification and reinforcement of executive management, seeking to provide it with greater operational agility and joint action, with goals, measures and indicators of related strategies and programs, not willing to waste efforts, but rather to unite them.

“We want to place Portugal at the level of the most advanced European countries in the digital dimension, in a time horizon that extends to 2030, and that guarantees: the digital transition of education, of professional training based on the training of trainees and trainers with the same goals. Encouraging employability through training, training and professional specialization in digital technologies and applications. Strengthening the digital skills of workers in public functions as a central condition for the digital transition of the Government and Public Administration. The generalization of digital literacy, with a view to the full exercise of citizenship and effective inclusion in a society with increasingly dematerialized interactions. We also want a digital transition based on the promotion of gender equality, with a view to increasing the participation of women in this area and digital-based entrepreneurship that promotes the development of new value-added products and services with a high potential for growth and internationalization, among others,” stated Luisa Ribeiro Lopes, General Coordinator of InCoDe.2030, during her intervention on May 3, at the Portugal Digital Forum.

It should be reminded that this Forum ends on the 6th of May. Until then, there are many interventions, debates and round tables, always around digital training.
