Agência Lusa and Centro Nacional de Cibersegurança (CNCS) promote the 2nd edition of the course “Cidadão Ciberinformado”. This course aims to stimulate the critical spirit of the information reader, but also to provide the Portuguese with resources that allow them to identify what is rigorous information and what can be disinformation material.
In this edition, the novelty is that participants will have access to Module 5, which teaches how to analyze news and invites subscribers to respond to a survey, which aims to investigate the perception of citizens about the credibility of news content in Portuguese.
In this way, trainees will have the opportunity to participate in the construction of a tool that Lusa and Inesc-Id are developing, assigning ‘nutritional labels’ to information, thus helping citizens in the fight against misinformation.
The course has a total duration of 4 hours and will be available until August 31, 2021.
