Another seal “uma ação INCoDe.2030” was awarded in the area of Education, this time with the project “NOVA IMS CHALLENGE: Applica-te”. Promoted by NOVA IMS, this initiative aims to promote the creative and entrepreneurial spirit of young people and sustainable development using new technologies, through a competition of ideas aimed at students from 7th to 12th grade.
The challenge is to describe in detail an App for smartphone, which fulfills a single purpose: to contribute to achieving one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Prizes will be awarded to the students who finish in the first three places, as well as to the trainer and the school of the winning project.
This project helps to support students in their learning, developing skills in digital technologies, not only through stimulation and creative spirit, but also through the development of scientific reasoning skills, collaborative work and Apps programming knowledge.
