Action – Project 3Digital (3D Modeling and Virtual Reality)
Description – 3Digital is an initiative promoted by the National Association of IT Teachers (ANPRI) in 3D modeling and virtual reality.
Participation in the Project implies that students design and develop projects, guided by an IT teacher, or by a team of teachers, provided that it is coordinated by an IT teacher, during the school year, in 3D modeling or virtual reality.
The work to be carried out, in each academic year, takes place within the scope of a theme that is made known at the beginning of that same year, during the month of September.
The theme makes it possible to interconnect the valences of 3D Modeling and Virtual Reality, facilitating transversal approaches in Class Councils, in order to encourage collaboration in the specific contexts of each school.
1. This initiative’s goals are the following:
1.1. To promote know-how, the spirit of initiative, creativity and entrepreneurship within the scope of IT subject and secondary and vocational education subjects.;
1.2. To motivate students to create projects in which knowledge, skills and values are evidenced;
1.3. To encourage the development of skills in project planning, development and presentation;
1.4. To promote the respect for security rules, intellectual and legal property rights;
1.5. To disseminate and share, with the educational community and civil society, projects developed in schools;
1.6. To value the work developed by students and the practices of teachers.
Categories into which projects must fall are as follows:
Category A:
3D Modeling – Third Cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education
Category B:
Virtual Reality – Third Cycle of Basic Education and Secondary Education
