Action – Digital Literacy for the Job Market
Description – “Digital Literacy for the Job Market” is presented as a replica of the model that has been operating for 12 years at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. ESE/IPSantarém proposes the implementation of this training in the Portuguese reality over two academic years. It should be noted that the course lasts for four semesters and the programs provided by Madrid will be implemented in all curricular units, although with the necessary adaptations to the Portuguese reality, with a degree of incapacity equal to and greater than 60%.
It is an innovative and supportive program, and it becomes even more relevant for being the first model of inclusive education in a higher education context for intellectual limitation. That is, to be a reference and training model for other experiences, being one of the leaders of social and labor education from the higher training environment of School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém.
With this training, we aim to acquire and exercise the social and emotional skills necessary to successfully interact in different contexts, such as teamwork; acquire ICT skills; flexibility in the ability to adapt to changes and in the self-assessment ability to analyze the respective work. Apply concepts, theories and principles acquired for problem solving and decision making in a work context. Ability to acquire and express the emotional and social skills necessary to successfully relate and be able to work satisfactorily in multidisciplinary teams. Ability to monitor and establish work sequences in tasks related to management and administration.
