Action– Creation of Digital Educational Resources
Description – The pandemic situation we are currently experiencing has raised immense problems for the Educational Community, but has also brought countless opportunities for reflection, action and renewal. This course responds to the need to train Educators and Teachers to create or modify, use and share digital educational resources for teaching and learning, having as main recipients Early Childhood Educators and Teachers of Basic and Secondary Education, although indirectly involving children and young people, the main recipients of the digital educational resources produced, hence we have also included these audiences in point 3.
The course has a workload of 25 hours of training and is accredited, in this modality on a distance basis, by the Scientific-Pedagogical Council of Continuing Education, with an end date on March 19, 2024. The course is part of the Training Plan for the next school year, where we plan to hold several editions, and updated information can be consulted on our website: https://casadoprofessor.pt/categoria-produto/tecnologias-educativas/
The next editions will be developed, in an e-learning regime, on the Microsoft TEAMS platform at Casa do Professor, through synchronous and asynchronous sessions, with a theoretical-practical nature. The course explores issues related to distance education, online learning and digital skills, specifically those necessary for the creation of digital educational resources and their safe use in an educational context.
It is organized into 3 modules: M1 – Distance education and digital skills; M2 – Online learning; M3 – Creation of digital educational resources. Synchronous sessions are carried out by videoconference using the following methods: expository – for syllabus presentation; interrogative – enabling interaction with and between trainees; demonstrative- to explain the operation of digital applications and tools; and assets to carry out individual and group work, applying and consolidating content.
In asynchronous sessions, interrogative methods are privileged – providing interaction in a discussion forum and assets – for the exploration of digital tools and consequent creation of a digital educational resource for the disciplinary area in which each trainee intervenes. Active tutoring strategies, group dynamics and innovative practices with students are also privileged.
So far we have already developed two editions, whose dates we present: 1st edition – took place from May 18 to July 10, 2021; 2nd edition – took place from July 5th to July 26th, 2021. The registration period for the third edition is currently open.
