Description – DXC Technology is committed to technology and has been implementing different programs for the dissemination of ICT, which it works with schools and non-profit associations dedicated to the education of young people. Technology is constantly evolving, and programming is a field that is gaining importance in the majority of professional profiles, so it´s intended that this initiative awakens a passion for these two areas among young people.
The DXC Code Challenge is a contest that aims to awaken interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in young people in an attractive, fun and easy-to-develop way.
Young people in the 2nd and 3rd cycles, between 10 and 15 years old, are challenged to create their own video game, according to a certain theme, which this year concerns climate change, promoting the reduction of CO2 emissions and aiming for a greener and healthier future. Young people are challenged to create their own green squad.
