The INCoDe.2030 - Digital Empowerment Guide focused on the topic "Citizenship and Digital Sovereignty" took place on September 29th in the Contemporary Culture Center of Castelo Branco. The Mayor of Castelo Branco, Leopoldo Martins Rodrigues, and the General Coordinator of INCoDe.2030, Luisa Ribeiro Lopes, were the ones who opened the session

The first panel debated the theme of the event and were joined by Sofia Moreira de Sousa, European Commission representative in Portugal, João Farinha, Policy Analyst, Competence Center on Foresight, William Hasselberger from the Digital Ethics Lab of the Portuguese Catholic University, and Ana Festas Henriques from the State Secretariat for Digitization and Administrative Modernization, and was moderated by Marta Moreira Dias, Member of the Board of Directors of .PT.

In this session were presented the emblematic projects that promote digital empowerment in Portugal, which count with the support of INCoDe.2030 and that have a big impact on the 25 events of this Guide: Apps for Good, UPskill, Engineers for a day, Eu Sou Digital, ENSICO, Nau, PTSOC, C-Academy and SPMS/SNS24.

Finally, it was introduced local initiatives such as: "Education for Digital Citizenship: from theory to field", "SiGAme: Digital transformation in ERPI's in healthcare" and "USALBI a Digital reality".

Also, three workshops were held: "Challenges & Best Practices in Cybersecurity: awareness and training for cybersecurity issues"; "I am Digital: learn how to search the internet, create an account on a social network or use email"; and "SNS24: learn how to use the SNS24 app or schedule a teleconsultation".
