DIGITAL SKILLS COURSE FOR MUNICIPAL TECHNICIANS

 This course is aligned with the digital development advocated by the National Initiative for Digital Skills e.2030, Portugal INCoDE.2030. The aim is to increase familiarization and use of the main IT tools, with particular emphasis on the word processor, Excel, Internet and e-mail, fundamental for the efficient and effective management and resolution of numerous professional situations that participants face within the activity they carry out in their respective services.

ADVANCED TRAINING IN CYBERSECURITY – SECURITY IN ICT INFRASTRUCTURES

Cybersecurity is nowadays considered an essential area to safeguard, in a controlled way, one of the most valuable assets of organizations, their Information System. The existence of several technologies and procedures widely recognized and with high efficiency in this management process, evaluating and demonstrating the state of Cybersecurity is, and will continue to be, a huge challenge.

UBBU APRENDE A PROGRAMAR

“Ubbu Aprende a Programar” aims to respond to the social problems of digital exclusion, school failure and dropout, and youth unemployment, through teacher training and Computer Science and Programming lessons in public schools of the 1st and 2nd cycles of basic education in the region. The project will last for 3 years and will run between Dec-2019 and Nov-2022.

CREATION OF DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES

The pandemic situation we are currently experiencing has raised immense problems for the Educational Community, but has also brought countless opportunities for reflection, action and renewal. This course responds to the need to train Educators and Teachers to create or modify, use and share digital educational resources for teaching and learning, having as main recipients Early Childhood Educators and Teachers of Basic and Secondary Education, although indirectly involving children and young people, the main recipients of the digital educational resources produced, hence we have also included these audiences in point 3.

BOT OLYMPICS 2022

 –Bot Olympics is an educational and training event that aims to show the world of robotics from a fun and a little more simplistic point of view in order to captivate younger minds for a huge area, which is actually the future. of the world around us. The 2022 edition will be the seventh of this event, with 140 participants coming from schools across the country, 50 staff members and 30 mentors (students or former students of electrical engineering).

The Vision Understanding & Machine Intelligence (VISUM) Summer School is a non-profit initiative aimed at bringing together students, researchers, and enthusiasts, from both academia and industry, with an interest in computer vision and artificial intelligence.

Description – “Olhó Robot!” is a digital inclusion project, aimed at children from 8 to 10 years old.

Your Future Programme

Innovative digital literacy programme in the area of education, which provides, free of charge, an introduction to coding and computer science, through creation and design, using the Micro:bit (a microcontroller board) and a coding game to introduce the world of programming/coding.
