The INCoDe.2030 Program recently distinguished the Action “Educar na Era Digital”, with the seal “uma ação INCoDe.2030”.
“Educar na Era Digital” has been developed by Escola Profissional Amar Terra Verde (EPATV), with the aim of adapting teaching to the new reality of the information and knowledge society. EPATV assumed itself as a School that mainly makes learning, instead of teaching, and where digital skills are transversal and students us technology in all learning processes.
In addition to training the teaching team on topics such as digital tools, autonomy and flexibility, learning sessions on the use of the Microsoft Teams platform, and the Apple Professional Learning Specialist, the “ICLASS” project was started, with the distribution of IPAD’S among 1st graders, with the aim of allowing access to textbooks, digital educational resources and several APPs that arise students’ curiosity and creativity. In this way, it is intended to promote innovative educational environments in a logic of individual and collaborative research. Through the training of teachers and students, EPATV wants to become an Apple Distinguished School.
