INCoDe.2030 recently distinguished another project in the qualification area, with the seal “uma ação INCoDe.2030”.
“Escape Room – a Entrevista”, promoted by the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, was developed based on a course in “Digital Literacy for the Labor Market”, for young people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DID), with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 60%.
It is the first model of training and inclusive education, in the context of higher education, for intellectual disabilities. The objective is to promote and facilitate the social, labor and employability inclusion of these young people, through their training and development of specific skills in digital literacy, adjusted to the needs of the labor market.
This project comes to life through the development of a physical and conceptual/pedagogical space, where “immersive experiences” are implemented, namely with young students with DID, for their training and for the development of critical skills related to social inclusion, employability and to entrepreneurship. It is an exercise that combines a playful immersive experience and at the same time a pedagogical purpose carried out for this purpose and for this target audience.
