INCoDe.2030 has recently distinguished the project “VISUM 2021- 9th Edition of the Vision Understanding & Machine Intelligence Summer School”, with the seal “uma ação INCoDe.2030”.
VISUM 2021- Vision Understanding & Machine Intelligence Summer School is a non-profit initiative that aims to bring together students, researchers and enthusiasts, both from academia and industry, with an interest in computer vision and artificial intelligence. This project has positioned itself as a summer-school of reference in the computational area, in addition to its training offer, it also stands out for its extra-academic initiatives.
VISUM’s Organizing Committee is made up of professors, researchers and PHD students from Instituto de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores, Tecnologia e Ciência (INESC TEC), who carry out fundamental and applied research in computer vision, pattern recognition and computer learning.
All participants receive 2 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) and the teams with the best works are awarded.
This edition is carried out entirely in digital format, due to the pandemic situation caused by COVID-19.
