INCoDe.2030 has recently distinguished “Maiores ON” with the seal “ uma ação INCoDe.2030”.
“Maiores ON” aims to enhance the use of information and communication technologies, with the older population, in an attempt to fight the loneliness caused by Covid-19.
This project is divided into three distinct phases: in the first phase, digital literacy classes will be taught, in order to provide this segment of the population with knowledge for the use of new technologies. In a second phase, seniors register on the miONe platform and will have access to a community that, through online sessions via Zoom, share information, knowledge and socialize, promoting greater care for mental health and autonomy. Finally, in the third phase, face-to-face digital literacy classes will be held, where they will have all the necessary technological equipment.
