The INCoDe.2030 Program recently distinguished Universidade Sénior 2.0– “Séniores Ativos em Casa” project with the seal “uma ação INCODE.2030”, which aims to recognize, distinguish and give notoriety to actions that signal the broad mobilization of society around INCoDe.2030’s goals.
This project takes place within the scope of RUTIS (Rede de Universidades da Terceira Idade) and involves online computer classes aimed at the elderly, with the aim of integrating, educating and encouraging the population to actively participate in this new technological reality.
This initiative emerged during the pandemic that the country is currently facing with the mission of generalizing digital literacy and combating the exclusion of the senior population, empowering them with digital tools and skills.
In these online classes, through the Zoom platform, various topics are addressed related to practical demonstrations from the user’s perspective, such as Office and Google tools, Internet services, 3D modeling, types of Cloud storage, introduction to programming, robotics and augmented reality.
